Carefully crafted using a specific blend of Lawsonia inermis (henna) and Indigofera tinctoria (indigo), it delivers beautiful results without any chemicals or synthetic ingredients. Some grey or previously damaged hair may also be a bit resistant to the dye (this will result in a brassy orange color) and may require a priming application / second application on virgin hair, and it’s best to be aware of that and have the supplies available ahead of time. One packet provides enough for one application on shoulder-length hair.  How to Mix & Apply Dark Brown Henna Tools You’ll Need:  Glass or wooden mixing bowl Wooden or plastic spoon Measuring spoons/cups Gloves (vinyl or rubber) Plastic wrap or shower cap (Optional) Fabric cap for added warmth �� Ingredients:  Brown Henna Kit (includes 1 bag Henna, 1 bag Indigo) Black tea, 2 cups strong and cooled Apple cider vinegar or lemon juice, up to 3 tbsp (optional, for richer tone) Warm filtered water, 1 cup (Optional) Euro Oil, 1–3 tsp (Optional) Clove, cinnamon, or ginger powder (1–3 tsp to reduce henna scent) (Optional) Sea salt (pinch, deepens tone) (Optional) Amla powder (helps lock in indigo—do not combine with vinegar, lemon, or tea) �� Alternative Liquids:  You may replace tea and ACV/lemon with: Apple or orange juice (2 cups) Strong herbal tea (e.g., rosemary or chamomile) Warm filtered water Amla mixture (if using, skip all acids) �� Step-by-Step Instructions: 1. Prepare Henna Mix Empty the Brown Henna bag into a bowl. Add optional spices and apple cider vinegar or lemon juice for a deeper tone (note: this extends dye release time). Slowly stir in black tea until the paste is yogurt-like—thick but spreadable. Add Euro Oil if desired. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit 8–12 hours (12 if you used ACV or lemon). The surface should turn a dark reddish-brown—this means it’s ready. 2. Prepare Indigo Mix When ready, empty the Indigo bag into a separate clean bowl. Mix with warm water until smooth and creamy. Do not let the indigo sit—combine it immediately with the henna mixture. 3. Combine & Apply Blend henna and indigo mixtures. Add a splash of warm water if needed for texture. Section clean, dry hair (towel-dried is okay), protect your skin with Euro Oil, and apply with gloved hands from roots to tips. 4. Cover & Wait Wrap hair in plastic wrap or a shower cap. Add a warm fabric cap on top to retain heat. Leave in for 1–4 hours—the longer it stays, the deeper the color. Do not leave in overnight. 5. Rinse & Reveal Rinse thoroughly with water only (no shampoo). Use a drain catcher to avoid clogs. A bit of Euro Oil or Pearl Essence Crème Rinse can help with rinsing. Avoid shampooing for 24 hours.
